To be honest, I though that the “idea” of the blog it was be bored and tedious, but I’m surprised. I suppose that If you didn’t try it and you do not like it, how do you know? The first times are always strange, and the fist blog was not saved from the rule, but over time I was more and more convinced that this idea of writing would be good to practice and improved my English. I knew when the minimum of words increases, and it took me the same time that the first times. I only enjoy it when the topics inspired me to write, and I can say was it most of them! I think that the clue was when the teacher asks to us the topics that we want it. That was a way to include into the “work” and not imposing the contents of blogs. The funny and silly part was when commented on the posts of our classmates. This term is weird, I think that I've learned a lot of different subjects in a very short time. It’s a little bit exhaustive. This term I have seven subjects, some more fascinating than others. I think that my favourite subject it must be Growth and Development of Trees. This subject opened my mind, because I never imagined that in trees could happen so many processes dependent on each other and everything that happens around an individual can affect it in some way or another. I have had practical and theoretical activities, practical activities like seed germination lab essay or stem analysis, I haven’t had field activities in this subject, but in structure and functioning of ecosystems we have field activities. Taking advantage of the fact that the topic is free I want to write about something intangible and dreamy, soul mates. I love this topic because the reaction of most of the people when you say “soul mates” is to be ashamed and is funny to see them. This site is a collaborative project conformed by a group of nature lovers with the common interest of knowledge of native nature. The website present information sheets including plant families, location maps, outstanding flora for each region and photographs of the different types of trees, herbs, cactus, bushes, ferns, epiphytes, fungi, mosses, lichens and more. Even has a “resource library”, that is a lot of books, guides and manuscripts related to native biodiversity. Well let’s see. The climate change is happening now all over the world and its very funny the people that just don’t care about the vital signs of the earth. I mean, we live in this planet and we see economic, politics, social and even scientific problems about the climate change. Even we don’t have to think about the future of the global warming, because we are in the future and we see the impact of the changes in our ecosystem. We see catastrophes, we see that people don’t have water, we see fluctuations in temperature or precipitation, we see the rare animal migration and we see more. I think that the first step to fight the climate change is learn about the problem and realize that it does happening, and I believe that the responsibility is on the scientists for inform correctly to the ordinary people. Hey. I chose this photograph because it reminds me the happiness when I was with my auntie. It was taken by my older cousin on some street of Santiago on December 24, 2014. That day was simple with my cousins and my aunt - the crazy in blue is my auntie -. Walk through the streets taking photos and laughing together over the stupid things. Then we went for a big coffee ice cream at the little ice-cream parlor near to Barrio Italia, it was lovely. In the evening we went back to the apartment, exactly to the pool. We were happy. We enjoyed that day because we knew that after one week my aunt had to fly for a very long time to other country, far away from us. Every time I remember that day I think in the pleasure of share with people that you love. The wonderful aunt with her three favourite nieces. xo
Hi. The books are so important to me, because I love how simple letters can transmit a lot of emotions. When I read is a disconnection from the world, It’s only the book and me. I confess that when I was child hated to read books, I felt bored. But time changes. When I fell in love for the books was reading Socrates trough Plato, beautiful expressions from another era; but in the last few years I’ve been obsessed with romance and drama books. My favourite book of romance is “AFTER” by Anna Todd, and you only must know that it’s about soulmates. The feeling when I read it’s so overwhelming that I can hardly contain myself. Nowadays I’m reading a drama book recommended by my dear friend “M” and can’t wait to finish it. I only need headphones, music and the book. xo
